I am in the process of evicting him now--June 2016. I have also requested a Protection order. He makes grandiose statements about "being reasonable" but cannot and will not have a civil face to face conversation. He has a great deal of difficulty taking responsibility and applies his "victimhood" mentality to most interactions. Very passive aggressive, and almost exclusively uses text messages to communicate--no eye contact, no vocal intonations (except CAPS when he wants to scream), no body language. He is NOT a trusting soul, and has great difficulty apologizing for any of his behaviors--very defensive and seems to hold few people in high regard.

Jim Jennison has kept me in court all of July and August , thousands of dollars of back rent and legal fees racked up...he files appeals on any judgement ruled against him , dragging out the whole legal system....he is advertising his need for another place to live in the Millcreek area as he works at Millcreek Hannaford , his ad says everything that he is not , he will give you false references too , and said that he lived in Sweden for some years also to make up for missing pieces to his references for someone his age , he is a pain in the ass to all of my other tenants right from the get go , once he is in your house , you better call a lawyer......

i finally rid of jim jennison , he had to be removed from house by the sppd , after he argued and weasiled trying to buy more time , he relented to go out the door with what he could carry , and to return thursday for his bed and belongings with a truck at 11am , i will be asking for the police to be here for that also....

james p jennison is gone but not forgotten....he has continually harrassed my daughter with texts and emails , accusing her of not returning all of his possesions , which is bunk....at the end of this court case i kept in contact with helen and jim white , the victims before us , they refered me to Sam Sherry as legal genius....also in that time period i had the chance to talk to my friends , Tom and Donna , owners of The Cookie Jar...donna said he was the worst pain in her ass ever, they fired him but he kept coming back to work , and did the dept of labor appeals etc....and when he lost it all and had to move on legally , he persisted to text them harrassingly for quite awhile...he has moved on to harrassing my daughterby texting now , to this day.....i know we tried to warn everybody we could , not to rent to him ....but he has been seen entering 199 stanford street , here in ferry village again , oh my....its a duplex so the owners must be in the 201 half , too bad he got his foot in their door......i will send an email to the sheriff and to the sppd to warn them that he is back in the hood , they were really hoping he would get across the bridge because the mayor has taken their power to enforce these evictions , the police tricked him out the door , not kicked him out the door , i am not happy with the mayor....

A Paper Bag Floor Over Asbestos Linoleum

My new "paper bag" kitchen floor, with a tutorial following. Oil-based stain reddish; tempera paint stain brownish.   Old rug on left, new linoleum on right. My father's 1910 house has old asbestos linoleum tiles in the downstairs apartment kitchen. During the years he rented out the apartment to students, he put down rug in half the kitchen to cover those tiles, and then newer non-asbestos linoleum tiles in the other half (where the stove and sink were). When I moved in six years ago to rehab the apartment (since it had been trashed), I pulled up the nasty rug and threw a coir rug over that area and waited for money to have the entire area retiled.
