Shotgun found at Gordon home is similar to one used in Closs murders

Authorities found a shotgun during their investigation that is “consistent with the gun used" in the murders of James and Denise Closs, Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said.
A shotgun was used to shoot a door at the Closs home in October so the suspect could gain entry, Fitzgerald said. Authorities found James and Denise Closs dead in the home on Oct. 15. At that time, they also discovered that their daughter Jayme was missing.
Fitzgerald said authorities recovered the shotgun and other guns at the arrest site in Gordon, Wisconsin."
As we continue with English 101, how is it someone can be dead and also report their daughter missing?

A Paper Bag Floor Over Asbestos Linoleum

My new "paper bag" kitchen floor, with a tutorial following. Oil-based stain reddish; tempera paint stain brownish.   Old rug on left, new linoleum on right. My father's 1910 house has old asbestos linoleum tiles in the downstairs apartment kitchen. During the years he rented out the apartment to students, he put down rug in half the kitchen to cover those tiles, and then newer non-asbestos linoleum tiles in the other half (where the stove and sink were). When I moved in six years ago to rehab the apartment (since it had been trashed), I pulled up the nasty rug and threw a coir rug over that area and waited for money to have the entire area retiled.
